About Us

Since our founding in Perth, Western Australia, CareTEK Medical has
been driven by a singular vision: to revolutionize the healthcare
industry through patient-centric innovation and manufacturing
excellence. Over the years, we've combined strategic expertise from
around the globe to develop cost-effective, high-quality, and
resource-saving medical furniture solutions for hospitals, clinics,
aged-care facilities and within home care.

Early Beginnings (2000-2010)

CareTEK embarked on its remarkable journey in 2000, establishing its first foothold in the United Kingdom with a vision to revolutionize healthcare solutions. By 2003, the company made a strategic move to Dongguan, China, setting the foundation for its manufacturing capabilities in the Asian market. The following year marked another milestone with the establishment of the first Shawan Factory, expanding production capacity to meet growing demands. In 2005, CareTEK diversified its portfolio by introducing its first healthcare products, signaling the company's commitment to improving quality of life through innovation. The company further strengthened its manufacturing prowess in 2007 when it began its own bed manufacturing operations, offering specialized healthcare furniture solutions. In 2008, CareTEK relocated to its current Panyu Factory, creating a more efficient and centralized manufacturing hub that would support its ambitious growth plans.

Global Expansion (2010-2018)

CareTEK's international footprint expanded significantly in 2010 with the strategic acquisition of CareTEK Australia, marking the beginning of its global market penetration. The company continued its manufacturing expansion in 2011 by opening the Qianjiang Factory, increasing production capacity to serve diverse international markets. A pivotal moment came in 2012 when CareTEK entered the technology sector through Utilti, integrating cutting-edge solutions into its healthcare offerings. The year 2016 brought dual achievements as CareTEK Care was launched and the company reached the significant milestone of becoming a Public Limited Company (PLC), enhancing its market position and investor relations. In 2017, CareTEK demonstrated its commitment to education and professional development by establishing the CareTEK Care School in partnership with TAFE Australia, training the next generation of healthcare professionals.

The company's expansion strategy culminated in 2018 with the acquisition of another factory in Zhuhai, further solidifying CareTEK's position as a global leader in healthcare solutions with a robust manufacturing network across multiple locations.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, CareTEK demonstrated remarkable dedication by rapidly responding to government deployment arrangements, mobilizing personnel and resources to meet urgent needs. When Ningbo Fangcang Hospital was ordered to be built by the Zhejiang Provincial Government in April 2020, CareTEK immediately dispatched staff and coordinated the emergency transport of medical beds from production bases in Guangzhou and Hubei to support the facility, which was constructed in just 48 hours and quickly passed inspection. The company's swift action helped equip the makeshift hospital that would treat quarantined patients from Shanghai, exemplifying how CareTEK rose to the challenge during this critical period in China's COVID response efforts.

Present Day and Beyond

In the present day, CareTEK stands at the forefront of healthcare innovation, propelled by advanced engineering capabilities that consistently push the boundaries of patient care excellence. The company's unwavering commitment to rigorous testing protocols ensures that every product not only meets but exceeds international standards, setting new industry benchmarks. With a visionary approach to product development, CareTEK has cultivated an ecosystem where user feedback directly shapes healthcare solutions, creating a virtuous cycle of improvement and satisfaction. The revolutionary "Bed of the Future" concept and pioneering work in Medical Internet of Things (MIoT) showcase CareTEK's leadership in remote patient monitoring technologies that seamlessly connect caregivers with patients regardless of distance. Looking toward the horizon, CareTEK is poised to revolutionize healthcare delivery through strategic investments in artificial intelligence and sustainable practices, transforming patient experiences worldwide. The passionate leadership team remains dedicated to the founding principle that technological advancement should serve human needs first, driving a culture of innovation that balances cutting-edge capabilities with compassionate care.
